Stories shape the world.

We make sure more voices get to tell them.

Who We Are

We are Greta Myers and Emilie Jimenez—elite ghostwriters, nonprofit volunteers, and storytellers at heart.

For years, we’ve helped business leaders write books that expand their influence. But we kept asking ourselves:

What about the people who don’t have access to these resources?

As former educators, ministry insiders, and world travelers, we’ve seen firsthand how some of the most important work in the world goes unnoticed—not because it lacks impact, but because those doing the work don’t have the time, platform, or resources to share it.

So: we built sparrow·stories.

We created a sustainable way to bring these stories to life—without siphoning funding away from a nonprofit’s mission or donor base. Instead, we partner with Champions—foundation organizations and funders who share our desire to amplify the scale and impact of these nonprofits' great work.

This isn’t just ghostwriting. It’s a movement—one that amplifies unheard voices, deepens compassion, strengthens nonprofits, and expands justice—all through the power of storytelling.

We tell the stories of those too often unseen for a more just and compassionate world.

  • Our Mission

sparrow·stories makes ghostwriting accessible to nonprofit leaders, community advocates, and the people they serve. Through storytelling, we help bring lived experiences, wisdom, and solutions to light—fostering understanding, inspiring action, and promoting justice.

  • Our Vision

To spark a movement that amplifies unheard voices, deepens compassion, strengthens nonprofits, and expands justice—all through the power of storytelling.

Stories spark understanding. Understanding fuels compassion. Compassion drives justice.

Why the sparrow?

Sparrows are small, ordinary birds—easy to overlook. In the Bible, they symbolize God’s care for the unseen, the forgotten, the ones the world might ignore—yet those who, nevertheless, are deeply known and valued by God. The sparrow reminds us that every life, every story, every voice matters.

At sparrow·stories, this truth extends beyond any one faith tradition. Across cultures, sparrows represent resilience, adaptability, joy, and hope. They thrive in unexpected places. They navigate hardship. They remind us that even the smallest voices deserve to be heard.

The sparrow represents those whose lives and communities are impacted by the work of nonprofits—individuals whose stories are often left untold. We believe those stories carry wisdom, insight, and truth the world needs. We see nonprofit leaders as the ones who listen to the sparrows, advocate for them, and fight for their flourishing.

That’s why sparrow·stories exists—to shine a light on these small ones; to amplify their sweet song. Because these stories have the power to spark understanding, fuel compassion, and drive lasting justice.

“Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God.” —Luke 12:6

“[The book] not only puts a human face on the gang member, but it also calls us to our shared humanity... People end up feeling like, ‘Well maybe we do belong to each other.’”
